What drives the price of armoring and what to ask for in a quote.
There is no single price for armoring a car: it depends on several factors and every case is quoted individually. Here is what moves the price so you can compare quotes sensibly.
This is the main factor. A higher level means more material, more weight and more work. Compare Level 3, Level 4 or Level 5 and see what each protects against.
A large SUV needs more material than a sedan. The model, year and mechanical condition also count: suspension and brakes may need reinforcing (see weight, suspension and brakes).
Ballistic steel, hybrid armor, glass thickness and components such as run-flat tires or a ballistic bulkhead change the cost. Each has its page: steel, hybrid, glass.
If you do not have a vehicle yet, an already armored one may be the most practical option. See the available vehicles and the guide to armored cars for sale.
The level in writing, the test standard, materials by area, warranty, what the suspension and brake reinforcement includes and what maintenance service is available afterwards.
We do not publish generic figures: the right price comes from reviewing your vehicle and your need. Request your quote.
