FAQ

Armoring in Querétaro: frequently asked questions

Which makes and types of vehicles do you armor?

We armor cars, SUVs, pickups and trucks of every make, new or pre-owned.

Does armoring change how the vehicle looks?

We make sure it doesn't. Today's materials are lighter and more discreet, so the vehicle keeps its comfort, design and performance.

What does a run-flat do?

It's a high-strength ring inside the tire that carries the vehicle even with a punctured tire: it lets you drive 20 to 50 km (12 to 30 miles) at moderate speed (80 km/h or 50 mph at most) to get out of the danger zone.

Do you armor vehicles for clients in Querétaro?

Yes. We serve Querétaro and all of Mexico. Consulting and quotes are handled remotely and the armoring is done at our certified plant in Monterrey, Nuevo León.

What is the armor made of?

We use SSAB Armox 600T and Ramor 550 ballistic steel, Tensylon® lining for protection with less weight, 32 to 42 mm bulletproof glass depending on the level, and run-flats in the tires.

What armor level is right for Querétaro?

It depends on your trips and the risk you face. Level 3 is the most popular in Mexico for urban use; level 4 or 5 is recommended for highways or higher-risk areas. A specialist will define it with you.
