Armored vehicle repair

A collision, an attempted assault, delaminated glass or a door that no longer closes right: when an armored vehicle is damaged, the repair must restore its protection, not just its looks.

RGM Armor repairs armored cars, SUVs and trucks of any make at our certified plant in Monterrey. We check how the armor is built, give you a clear diagnosis and repair or replace what is needed.

What we repair

Most common repairs

We service the armor and what the armor demands from the vehicle. If a part can no longer be repaired, we replace it.

  • Bulletproof glass

Delaminated, impacted or cracked glass, or damaged seals: we assess it and replace it when needed. Bulletproof glass.

  • Doors and hinges

Sagging doors, doors that rub or will not close: adjustment, reinforcement or replacement of hinges and latches.

  • Opaque armor

After a collision or impacts, we inspect and replace the ballistic steel or hybrid armor in the affected area.

  • Run-flat and tires

If the run-flat has been used, the tire and system must be inspected and almost always replaced.

  • Suspension and brakes

Springs, shocks, pads and rotors worn or damaged by the weight of the armor.

  • Window regulators

Motors and mechanisms that no longer raise or lower armored glass properly.

After a collision or an impact

The protection gets checked too

After a collision or bodywork repair, the armor can be damaged or displaced even if nothing shows on the outside. A regular shop does not always know how the protection is built.

If your vehicle took hits, the material that stopped the bullet has done its job: the safe step is to inspect and replace it in that area so it protects the same way again.

Bring your vehicle to the plant and we will tell you what it needs before doing any work.

Can bulletproof glass be repaired or does it need replacing?

It depends on the damage. Delaminated or impacted glass is usually replaced, because it no longer protects the same way; seals and mounting can be corrected.

My armored car was in a collision. What should I do?

Besides the bodywork, have the armor checked: it can be displaced or damaged even if it does not show. Bring it to the plant for a diagnosis.

How long does a repair take?

It depends on what needs repair and on the materials. We give you the estimated time with the diagnosis.

Where is the repair done?
